Fee Structure

A. Tuition Fee

Meritorious students from will be given concession.

1. Undergraduate Students

a. For the top ranked 20 students (among those who will be joining IIT Bhubaneswar) from the , the tuition fee will be at par with Indian students.

b. For rest of the students, the tuition fee shall be 200% of the fee prescribed for Indian students.

2. Postgraduate Students (including Ph.D.)

I. Sponsored Students

a. ITEC/MEA sponsored students: As per ITEC/MEA norms

b. Other sponsored students:

From SAARC CountriesUS$ 2000 per year
From other CountriesUS$ 4000 per year

II. Other Students

a. The tuition fee shall be 200% of the fee prescribed for Indian students.

b. Fee for students admitted under the category “Study in India” program:

The following structure for fee waiver will be applicable.

Top 25%Full fee waiver
Next 25%50% fee waiver
Next 25%25% fee waiver
Rest 25%0% fee waiver

c. As per the order of merit, the fee waiver for students who are neither sponsored nor from “Study in India” program, will be as follows:

i. 100% fee waiver

For the students who can be considered against the vacant seats of the “Study in India” program with full fee waiver.

ii. 50% fee waiver (i.e. fee at par with Indian students)

For the students who can be considered against the vacant seats of the “Study in India” program with 50% fee waiver.

In addition to the above, for 30 students only from the .

iii. 25% fee waiver

For the students who can be considered against the vacant seats of the “Study in India” program with 25% fee waiver.

B. One-time fee at the time of admission

At par with Indian students or as per the norms of the sponsoring agency, whichever is higher.

C. Hostel Fee

At par with Indian students or as specified by the sponsoring agency, whichever is higher.

D. Mess related charges

At par with Indian students or as specified by the sponsoring agency, whichever is higher.
